Snappy days

photoA revamp for a town centre shop. But this one is more meaningful than most.

At a time when technology has put paid to Jessops and just about all the other chains that depend on photography, Snappy Snaps should never survive the digital age.

Yet here it is, updating and and reinventing itself. In a world where everyone has, not just a digital camera and a computer but also a printer, there should be no place even for a modernised Snappy Snaps.

But the truth is this is one shop that refused to stand still and try to fight progress.

It has gone with the digital age and provides things that dodgy home printers and their ridiculously expensive ink cartridges, should produce at little cost, but in reality, don’t.

If someone had gone on Dragons’ Den with the idea to open a Snappy Snaps, they would have been laughed out of the den.

That makes it even more a cause for celebration.
