Bridging a political gap

UntitledFor something like 50 years there has been talk of a third bridge but could the latest attempt have something the others haven’t.

Most previous bids have come from councilors who lose heart and give up.

This time it’s come from a fed up local and so far she’s done a pretty good job.

Maybe people pressure could be more powerful than politics where you can’t help thinking they are doing little more than paying lip service.

How Oxfordshire have denied us the bridge so far is incredible.

If it became an election issue, our local politicians might just have to do something more meaningful than they have so far.
