Office move

Blog0906Once you built offices and let them out. Now it’s a constantly moving industry.

Regus has now created drop in offices at Membury services in a sign of the non-stop changing nature of business space.

Now you have to compete in the most imaginative ways.  Regus has also created a centre at Staples in Reading but with the drive to cut costs businesses will even sidestep the need for an office.

The owner of a cafe in Pangbourne told me last week there has been job interviews held on his premises. by customers. Meetings can often take place in hotel bars where the only costs are the coffees.

Given the enormous cost of an office it isn’t surprising and if more businesses follow suit it will force better (and better priced) alternatives.
