Where the grass IS greener

We’ll cut our grass, you cut yours.

Residents of south Oxfordshire have never wanted to be classed as Reading but perhaps they would do well to note the jungle that is their half of the Henley Road.

The Reading side is reasonably neat while the Oxfordshire side sports four foot high grass and weeds.

Perhaps the thinking is that anyone walking along there is likely to be from Reading anyway.

That might not be the case, Dog walkers around Playhatch and Dunsden have few options when it comes to finding any reasonably safe pedestrian routes.

This one is about the only one where they might see another human.

Oxfordshire have never been great neighbours. These pictures suggest their own residents might not be getting the most from their council tax.
