Rising like a Phoenix

Another sign that the station revamp is spreading its influence.

Phoenix House, 50,000 sq ft of space in a dated and ugly building is undergoing a major refit, bolstered by the prospect of a vastly improved station.

This building replaced a slightly less ugly one on the same footprint but has been empty for several years while next door the Pinnacle has become mostly let.

With Apex Plaza just along the road maintaining its popularity after 23 years, Phoenix House faces an uphill struggle.

Not only to occupiers want nice and convenient offices but they want somewhere a bit more pretty than this.

One thing is for sure, if they can let this at a decent rent then the station rebuilding really has made a difference.
